As per the latest notification released by IIT Kanpur for IIT JAM 2020, the IIT JAM Biological Science has been removed this year. No one can say that it will be conducted next year or not so candidates who were thinking to appear in the biological Science then they must prepare for IIT JAM Biotechnology as because, both the subjects have most of the similarities in terms of syllabus and career scope. Even aspirants have benefits if they choose the biotechnology because there are more seats available for this course in IITs as compared to Biological Science. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to get the seat in IITs, IISc, NITs for M.Sc and other available courses.

To get good rank, candidates will have to start their preparation as early as possible so that they will get enough time for revision. Students are suggested to make a proper strategy and time schedule for exam preparation. Master in Genetic Engineering: Eligibility: The applicants should have a Bachelor's degree under any registered University in respective subjects like Botany, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences in Science stream. Admission is Entrance base and on merit as well. Ph.D in Genetics is a 2 to 5 years doctorate level degree course. The minimum eligibility for the post is a Master's degree (Post Graduate qualification) or M.Phil. In Human Genetics or related subject with a minimum of 55% marks at the undergraduate level. Admission Process: Entrance exam based. Different colleges have different set of Exams.
