The IIT Kanpur the highest package (domestic) offered was INR 1.9 crore per annum. Further, 33 students received packages of above INR 1 crore per annum during IIT Kanpur placements 2023. The number of international offers increased by more than double when compared with 2021. According to media reports, phase 1 of the placement session 2022-23 concluded with 1,200 job offers received from over 250 companies. This included 74 international offers and 208 PPOs. To get further promotions, employees need to clear in-house departmental examinations. With experience, candidates can also reach executive positions and become Aerospace Consultants.

Sorry to inform you that you can't take admission in IIT Kanpur from AKTU UPSEE because IIT Kanpur admits students to B.Tech, B. S, and dual degree courses only through JEE Advanced and through JAM for M.Sc. Programs.

No, the MBA degree offered by IITs are open to candidates from all academic backgrounds. For admission, the candidates need to meet the selection criteria prescribed by that particular IIT.

The average salary package at IIT Madras is around 21.48 LPA, while the average salary package at IIT Kanpur is around 10 LPA. Therefore, on average, IIT Madras has a better salary package for its Engineering graduates than IIT Kanpur. According to the placement records, IIT Madras offered a maximum annual salary of Rs 52.5 Lacs and a minimum salary of Rs 7 Lacs to Civil Engineering students in 2020-21. The records are also suggestive of the fact that the placement rate for Civil Engineering graduates was the highest at IIT Madras compared to other institutes considered in the study.
