IIT Kanpur has low placement rates with a lot of students inclined towards academics and research. The institute boasts an excellent infrastructure with internet and good mess facilities.
The professors at IIT Kanpur are very well accomplished with a huge stock of knowledge and experience. The syllabus at IIT Kanpur comprises of comprehensive theory and advanced practical skills.
IIT Kanpur is better for students with PhD inclinations, and will not be suited well for students seeking immediate placements.

  • Class 10 marksheet/ Certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet & certificate
  • UG degree certificate & marksheets

No, IIT Kanpur applications are not out yet. Students can go to the institute's website for more details. The application forms will be released on the website of the accepted exams. Students must regularly visit IIT Kanpur site for updates.

No, you can't get direct admission in IIT Kanpur. The institute only offers entrance-based admissions. Students must meet both the general eligibility and selection requirements to get a seat at the institute. Some of the accepted exams include JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ GATE/ IIT JAM, etc.

No, you can't get admission in IIT Kanpur with 60% in Class 12. The institute accepts students who have a minimum of 75% (for general category) in Class 12. Even for the reserved categories, the minimum score is 65%. Hence, 60% is not enough to get admission in IIT Kanpur UG courses.

No, IIT Kanpur admissions are not possible without JEE scores if the students wants to join BTech or BSc courses. For both courses, JEE Main is mandatory. Also, for BTech admissions, students also need to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
