DOMS IIT Madras cutoff for the Management courses including MBA is based on valid CAT scores. For IIT Madras MBA admission, students must meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and the sectional cut off. For last three years the overall cutoff for DOMS IIT Madras has been constant at 85.11 percentile. Tabulated below is CAT percentile for DOMS IIT Madras cutoff for General category students for last three years:

No, IIT Madras BTech admission is only based on candidates' performance in JEE Maine exam, followed by the counselling round. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main are only eligible to appear for JEE Advanced entrance test for admission to IIT Madras BTech courses. To seek admission to the BTech programme offered at IIT Madras, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main.

For 2023, cut off was 964 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 2158 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 175. In 2023, it decreased to 148. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 88 to 101 for OBC, 53 to 54 for SC, 24 to 15 for ST, 34 to 36 for EWS, 6 to 4 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 101 for OBC, 54 for SC, 15 for ST, 36 for EWS, 4 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
