According to media sources, 147 candidates were placed during IIT Patna's Phase 1 placements 2023-24. Furthermore, 32 students received job offers with salaries exceeding INR 30 LPA during IIT Patna placements in 2024. The average package offered for IIT Patna placements in 2024 was INR 22.23 LPA. In addition, the average package offered for IIT Patna BTech CSE placements in 2024 was INR 27.60 LPA. Earlier, according to media reports, the highest and average packages offered during IIT Patna postings in 2023 were INR 82.05 LPA and INR 23.90 LPA. Furthermore, 245 students were placed out of 295 registered students during the 2023 IIT Patna placements.
