IIAD provides merit-cum-means scholarships to its meritorious and deserving candidates. Students who appear and qualify for iDAT/ iMAT entrance exam will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is also granted based on the Statement of Purpose in the scholarship form as well as the financial need of the student. Apart from that, IIAD has also partnered with new-age education finance companies such as CREDENC and Liquiloans for loan assistance.

To get admission to BDes at IIAD, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/ Commerce/ Arts from CBSE/ ISC/ State/ IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board. The eligible students can apply for the exam/admission on the IIAD Delhi official website. All the details should be filled out correctly in the application.
Those who are willing to get admission to this course, must qualify for an entrance exam. The institute has an in-house entrance exam namely, IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT), which is conducted by IIA

The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) generally conducts the IIAD exam in May/Jun. IIAD 2024 exam was conducted on May 31 and Jun 1. The exam is conducted in Online and On-Campus modes. The candidate can select the mode of the exam at the time of filling out the IIAD 2024 application form. Note that the IIAD DAT is conduted multiple times in the year.

Candidates who are willing to get admission to a UG level desigining course of BDes at IIAD Delhi must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Aspirants who passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in the streams in Science/Commerce/Arts from CBSE/ ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board are eligible to apply for the course. Afte fulfilling the eligibility critreria, next step is to appear for IDAT exam.

IIAD offers BDes course across four specialisations. The total number of seat intake 160, this number is divided among all BDes specialisations. Find below the specialisation-wise bifurcation of seat intake for BDes course offered at IIAD Delhi:

The total fee for a four-year BA course at IIAD is INR 21.1 lakh. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. Students are requested to visit the official website to get more details on the same. The fees might include components other than tuition fees. Given below are the terms & conditions applicable on the fee for all UG courses:
- The fee for UG courses are inclusive of chanrges of Kingston University and UGC approved Indian University.
- Security Deposit is refunded, which will be refunded on completion of the programme.
- All fees refunds will be governed by IIAD Fees Refund Policy.
