The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) is a contemporary design institute nestled in New Delhi, the Institute partnered with Kingston School of Art, Kingston University, London, a pioneer in art and design education. This way students enrolling themselves for any design programme at IIAD are assured access to education bench marked against the best in the world. In addition to gaining an international degree from Kingston University, students at IIAD also have the opportunity to enroll and gain a UGC recognised degree. The Institute is a Collaborative partner with Lingayas Vidyapeeth (Lingayas University) for their B.Voc degree programmes in design. IIAD as an Institute is dedicated towards devoting time and energy to the cause of a better industry through robust industry associations. Therefore, the Institute holds Institutional Memberships with the following associations/ organisations. Job Prospectus : Design students have multiple prospects once they graduate. They can look for experience and learning in a niche, bespoke design practice, or they can enter the world of corporate design through a myriad of large conglomerates. They can also decide to start their own practice/workshop if they have an entrepreneurial streak. Internships And Placements : IIAD has a dedicated internship and placement network that works as a crucial interface between the students and the industry. The Career Management Services are aimed at easing the students entry into avenues of suitable employment upon graduation. During the academic year, the Institute engages in systematic interactions with the industry by organizing a wide range of activities like live projects, industry visits, seminars, workshops and guest lectures. So in my opinion IIAD is a good Institute for Interior Design Course.

Although our first batch of students will be graduating in 2019, current students of the Communication Design Programme have got internship opportunities with brands like Animal Design, Prasun Mazumdar Design, Newclear, Design Dimensions, InfoEdge and Jaipur Literature festival to name a few.
