The procedure to take admission in MBA course in ISSWBM, first procedure is to submit the application form, application Form and Admission Brochure can be collected from the reception counter of IISWBM against cash payment of INR 1,500/- or downloaded online.

The next step is the payment and submission where you can pay by cash at IISWBM when you submit the filled up Application Form.

The last process is the admission checklist where is you have applied offline you must submit photo copy of all the applicable documents along with your Application Form. Come with the originals if and when you are called for Group Discussion and Personal I

IISWBM Kolkata Placements 2023 are over, and 96% of the candidates were placed. IISWBM the highest package increased by 20% at INR 18 LPA whereas IISWBM Kolkata average package stood at INR 9 LPA for the MBA (Day) batch, INR 8 LPA for the MBA (HRM) batch, INR 4.05 LPA for the MSW batch & INR 5.7 LPA for the MBA (PS) batch. At the placement drive, recruiters from companies including TCS, HSBC, Cognizant, ITC Limited, Reliance, ICICI Bank, Kantar, and others took part.

IIBSWM is one of the top colleges for MBA. Yes, the college is a good choice for an MBA as the faculty of the college is also well educated and has friendly behavior towards the students. The college also offers good placement to the students the college has a good campus area and provides campus placement at a high placement rate of about 88% and the Hostel Facilities are also very good. The hostel has AC Facilities and, Wi-Fi facilities also. The mess food of the Hostel is also very good in taste. The College also provides Summer Internship to the students.

You can check the merit list of the college by the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website of the college.
  2. Click on the Admission Tab.
  3. Select the Course-wise Prospectus.
  4. Click on Merit List updated every year on the website.
  5. Then click on the admission criteria.
  6. Fill out the application form.
  7. After filling out the form pay the fees.

After, checking the merit list. If, you are eligible then apply for admission. One can apply for admission directly from the portal or, one can visit the admin block of the college for further details and to secure admission in the college.

The CAT score required for admission at IISWBM for the MBA Programme varies each year depending on the number of applicants and the Category of the candidates. The merit list is released every year by the College for the CAT Exam. The students who fall under that category are eligible to go to the other round which is the personal Interview round. According to the merit list, the candidates who scored the percentile of 73 were eligible for seeking admission to the college. Some colleges also take the entrance test for giving admissions. The factors affecting IISWBM cutoff 2023 are:
·       The number of applicants: The number of applicants that have applied for the CAT Exam. If the candidates are more for the Exam then the cutoff for the particular session will be higher and vice-versa.
·       The difficulty level of the CAT exam: If the exam is difficult, the cutoff will be lower. This is because fewer candidates will score high marks in the exam.
·       The reputation of the college: IISWBM is a reputed college in Kolkata. So, the cutoff for IISWBM is likely to be higher than other colleges.

The cutoff depends on your Category. The cutoff for the batch of 2023 was 73 for the General Category, 65 for SC/ST Category, and 69 for the OBC Category. To gain admission to the college, one must first pass the CAT, and then apply to the college. The college will connect with the students after the results of the CAT Exam, and the students will be admitted based on the college's merit list. After passing the exam, the students will go to the personal interview round, and if selected in the personal interview round, the student is entitled to seek admission.
