Between 9.5 to 11 lacs: 48 Companies gave 177 offers.
Between 8 to 9.5 lacs: 52 Companies gave 181 offers.
Between 6.5 to 8 lacs: 50 Companies gave 155 offers.
Between 5 to 6.5 lacs: 50 Companies gave 139 offers.
Less than 5 lacs: 12 Companies gave 56 offers.
Total: 308 Companies gave 1143 Offers to various students overall.
Companies like Trident started offering 36 LPA to design students. But, it is also based on the performance of a student and how much budget the company has.

Industrial Design Centre was established in Mumbai IIT in 1969. It was very visionary decision to have this along with premier IIT. It was established primarily to encourage the study of industrial design which is of vital importance for a country on the path of industrialisation. Presently, this department offers different courses and also facilities for research also. The biggest advantage for this school of design is its co-location with IIT.
