The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, admits candidates as a naval officer through the UPSC NDA/NA examination or 10+2 TES entry. NDA/NA I applications opened on December 11, 2024, and closed on December 31, 2024, for 2025, whereas the exam was conducted on April 13, 2025.

NDA/NA II applications are opened from May 28 to June 17, 2025, and the examination is scheduled for September 14, 2025. The TES entry is usually opened for applications in January and July 2025 (specific dates differ), through advertisements in joinindiannavy.gov.in.
