The fees for mechanical branch is around 45-50 k per semester. During the time of admission there are some extra charges which you'll have to pay. If you opt for hostel there will be additional fees which you'll have to pay. However there are some scholarships like MMVY and post metric scholarship which have certain set of criteria which you should have to be eligible for the scholarship. These scholarships will help to reduce the burden of your fees

For B.Tech in mechanical engineering marks required could be 85+ percentile for general category or may even fall down to 80 percentile as seats are increasing. However it may even be less if youhave reservation like Sc, st, obc and ews. If you don't have home state quota it could be even higher like for people from not madhya pradesh.

Yes B.Tech in IT is offered at sgsits . It is a very good branch some people prefer it over CSE due to high workload in CSE . The branch is quite similar to CSE in terms of placements.how ever the fees is on the higher end for this branch as compared to other branches except biomedical engineering.Students from IT branch have been placed in dream and super dream companies like Goldman sachs, Deutsche Bank, Oracle etc. .
