If you wish to become a lawyer and be able to practice in the court of Law, you will have to complete the 3 year LLB program for which the eligibility is a graduation in any stream.
Different law Universities and colleges conduct different law entrance exams, to admit students to their courses, like NET (National Entrance Test), CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), Department of Law University of Delhi take admission through a common Entrance Test for all the three Law Centres (Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II).

Hi Mustafa,
The eligibility criteria for admission varies from college to college. Also, many colleges conduct their own entrance exams to offer admission to aspirants. So, you will have to contact colleges independently to know if you are eligible for admission or not.

NO, recruitment is a centralised process and one has to clear CAT to seek admission.However there is a quota system ,wherein seats are kept reserved for SC/ST/army/agriculture graduates/etc and students from the said area are given admission based on their rank in CAT under the specific quota system
