For the academic year 2023–2024, the following are the Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science (SGSITS) Indore JEE Main cutoffs for the general category:
The JEE Main Rank cutoff for computer Science and engineering ranges from 26,641 to 279,444.
The JEE Main Rank cutoff for electronics and communication engineering is between 31,412 and 345,964.
The JEE Main Rank cutoff for electrical engineering is between 37,697 and 402,164.
The JEE Main Rank cutoff for mechanical engineering is between 43,982 and 465,014.

In 2022–2023 around 60-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. The average salary package is around 6 LPA which is pretty good. The oppurtunities are provided but it's onto to the students to grab. Capgemini, HCL, TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit for recruitment. Around 50% of students get internships.

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering) is a degree awarded by universities to students who have completed four years (eight semesters) worth of coursework related to a specific branch of engineering. The fees for BTech programmes at Institute of Engineering and Science, IPS Academy, Indore is around Rs. 85,000 for the first year excluding the hostel fees and all.

CSE branch has good placement record than any other branch (except firetech). The average package is Rs. 5,00,000 and the highest package got around 17 LPA. Mass requiter is Tcs but didn't came in closed campus, it's pool campus and 85 students were selected .And many other companies also coming but slection is about 6–8students /company.

Many students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered ranges between 18 LPA - 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA - 15 LPA. The college provides placement opportunities in core companies. Top recruiting companies are Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Jindal, Tata, Prism, PSU, Accenture, Deloitte, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft and Samsung.

Students become eligible for placements from the third year of the college. The college's placement staff is aware of the placements and helps the students to prepare the resume. The median package for BTech students is around Rs. 5,00,000 and companies Iike Cipa, lupin, nestle, etc. came to college to give placements. Last year a student from engineering got placed in Tesla with 4 crore package.
