BCA gives a student with a solid platform to further his career in the field of technology but it is strongly recommended that a student should opt for MCA to further his prospects in this competitive world. You must opt for MCA correspondence and then pursue PhD as you already have teaching experience and these degrees will further enhance your prospects of becoming a lecturer. You may also opt for NET exam.

Yes, you can but you need to satisfy the age criterion for admission in a B.Tech course plus you need to be a science student i.e. in class 12th.

Opt for the course that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyze the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
If you love journalism, go for it, it's better to change stream now then to regret later.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of Aptitude, personality and career interest if you have any confusion.

Hi,
I think C language is more valuable for you.
But one thing that you should always keep in mind is that you should start the training from good training centers such as - Koenig Solutions, Udemy, Global Knowledge and much more.

Currently St. Xavier's, Ahmadabad is under Gujarat University and only after a year it will become autonomous. That's the reason the course is too novice. According to me computer science is a field where extra courses and certifications that focus on developing skill are more important and thus a decent college would do the need.
