1. First you need to get shortlisted for their process. I mean there are thousands and lakhs of people who are getting good percentages in their engineering degrees. How can you separate yourself from this crowd. Either get your graduation/Masters done from a top internationally recognized institute, or you win some coding competition, or you are contributing heavily to any open source project. These will give edge to your profile from getting shortlisted.
