Having done B.tech in computer science, it will be helpful for you if you want to continue with your career in information technology. However, if you want to choose other specialisations like marketing, finance then having computer science as a subject in the past won't have any negative impact on your choice.

Candidates who are applying for the degree and diploma courses in hacking must be residents of India. They must have cleared their Bachelors degree from any background with a score of 55 percent marks. The applicants must not be less than 21 years of age when they apply for the course.

Polytechnics is not enough today to get good job in company in software field you also have to go for Btech after diploma in engineering to get job in MNCS in software field.

As your field goes with computer operations and programming than BCA will be a better option for you. It will increase your job potential and give you more specialized knowledge of computer programming and applications. You will also have options to go for masters afterwards once you get settled in the industry. Also if you select a good college chances of getting campus placement will be high.
