Yes, a student who completed High school from an Open institute can still get selected for a BCA course, as most students only require a 10+2 class board certification from a recognised board, regardless of whether it was from the open school or regular university .
However it also depends on the other factors like Eligibility criteria for the specific colleges as it would vary for various institutions .
Many institutions also conduct entrance exams too.So the students must refer all the factors.

Admission to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University's (BBAU) MCA General program in Lucknow is doubtful for those with a CUET score of 120. According to past cutoffs the MCA cutoff for applicants in the general category usually falls between 200 and 250 while the cutoff for applicants in the reserved category is marginally lower. Unless there are notable shifts in cutoff trends or category-specific eligibility relaxations a score of 120 might not be sufficient.

You can do MCA.
If you want to make career in IT then you don't need to do MCA. Instead of Doing MCA you should do Certificate programme because you're already equal to MCA
According to Today's Companies Scenorio BCA-MCA=B.Tech
After Completion of MCA you'll consider as equivalent to B.Tech then what's the benefit of doing MCA after B.Tech.
