Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
B.E. / B.TechCandidate who has passed Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from a recognised board/university with 45% marks for UR category (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category of Chattisgarh) can also apply for the course.
Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission.
Candidate passed Diploma programme through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply.
If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission.
If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply.
Candidate Upper age limit is 30 years for UR category, 35 years for PWD who belongs to UR category of Chattisgarh, 33 years for SC/ST/OBC and Female category of Chattisgarh, and 38 years for PWD who belongs to SC/ST/OBC and female category of Chattisgarh as on 1st of July of academic year.
After 10th DiplomaCandidate must have passed 10th standard with Maths and Science or its equivalent exam from Board of Secondary Education Chhattisgarh/ any recognised board.

GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.TechCandidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
M.E./M.TechCandidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university.
Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates must have valid GATE score.
