In Pune, Diploma in Interior Designing consider International School of Design (INSD) Pune, National School of Skills Foundation, INIFD Deccan, Pune and Times and Trends Academy. These institutions are often quoted as the source of their Diploma programme whereby practical experiences are provided and industry exposure. Although many placement guarantees in specific placed conditions are not guaranteed, overall these are constructed with the aim of providing the student with job-ready skills in the interior design sector.

Course fee of interior design courses in India differ considerably depending on the school (government / private), period of learning as well as city, with range of 5,000 Indian rupee (INR) / short certificate to INR 20, 00, 000 / full time undergraduate/ postgraduate degree. While B.Des in Interior and Furniture design and B.Des in Interior Design share many similarities, they are not exactly the same. B.Des in Interior and Furniture typically includes a more specialised focus on furniture design within the broader field of interior design, whereas B.Des in Interior Design is a more general program.

A candidate who has cleared their Class 12 from any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts), can pursue a Interior Designing course at Paperloft Institute. Most popular colleges allow candidates to participate in their admission process only if they have completed their schooling from a recognised board.
