While B.Des in Interior and Furniture design and B.Des in Interior Design share many similarities, they are not exactly the same. B.Des in Interior and Furniture typically includes a more specialised focus on furniture design within the broader field of interior design, whereas B.Des in Interior Design is a more general program.

A candidate who has cleared their Class 12 from any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts), can pursue a Interior Designing course at Paperloft Institute. Most popular colleges allow candidates to participate in their admission process only if they have completed their schooling from a recognised board.

Yes, interior designers have to travel a lot for work purposes, but it varies on the basis of the project type, firm size, client requirements, and the nature of the project undertaken. Interior designers usually visit the spaces for measurements and consultation with the client and oversee the overall interior work in progress to ensure quality and timely execution. The travel schedules can be both domestic and international, depending on the popularity and status of the interior designer.

Not at all. The Interior Designing syllabus is not the same for all colleges but rather differs based on the course level, specialised focus area, and the college offering the course. Each college has its own curriculum guidelines, practical resources, and educational approach. While a few core design modules and skill-based knowledge might be similar, the specialised electives, studio work, industrial projects, and internship programs vary.
