Dedicated study time and preparation are necessary for the ISC exam 2026. Although getting good marks in this test is difficult, it is possible to make the work more doable with focus and constant study.
- With just 20 days in hand, students must prepare a study schedule. Allocate chapters and units of all subjects every day and try stick to the plan. Finish the topics thoroughly.
- Connect with teachers, friends or family to clear any of your doubts immediately. Stay calm and consistent. Try and finish the study material by evening so that you can go for a quick revision at night before sleeping.

Even in terms of administering tests and announcing results, the ISC exam is the most methodical and disciplined in the nation. The disciplines are evenly split in terms of difficulty so that students in upper grades won't experience strain. A minimum of 35% in each subject is required for students to pass the ISC Class 12 Board Exam in 2024. In May 2024, the results will be announced. ISC Class 12 pass rates were 96.33% overall last year, with females passing at 98.01% and boys passing at 95.96%. For ISC exams, carry:
- Admit Card (Hall Ticket)
- Valid Photo ID (School ID or Govt. issued)
- Optionally, use a transparent pouch for stationery
- Dress code - follow school guidelines.
- Pack basic stationery (pens, pencils, eraser, etc.).
- Check if a calculator is allowed (on admit card).
- Bring a transparent water bottle (check school rules).
- Arrive 30 minutes early.
- No electronics or valuables.

All students need to score at least 40 per cent in all subjects in order to clear the ISC examinations. They also need to have a minimum of 75% of attendance.
