The admission process for the BTech course at MSIT and JIMS Greater Noida is almost similar. Both colleges accept relevant entrance examination scores for admission to Bachelor of Technology courses. Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses. Therefore, it is hard to compare which institute makes it easier to get admission into BTech courses. To get a partial understanding of the difficulty in gaining admission to the BTech course, one can compare the cutoffs of both colleges from the links mentioned below:

Yes, JIMS Greater Noida does follow seat reservations for the BTech course. The total number of seats offered in the BTech course  is 360, and the college follows seat reservation and reserves a specific percentage of seats for reserved categories. The total number of seats offered in BTech courses at  JIMS Greater Noida is 360. Only one of the offered specialisation offers the highest number of seats. For the rest of the specialisation. the institute offers the same number of seats. Check out the name of the specialisation that offers the highest number of seats in the table below:

Currently, JEE Mains cutoffs for JIMS Greater Noida BTech admission for 2025 have not been released. However, the cutoff is expected to be announced soon. JIMS Greater Noida accepts two entrance exams for admissions to BTech courses. The names of the accepted entrance exams are JEE Mains  and IPU CET. Moreover, candidates who have secured a valid score on any of the entrance exams can get admission to the course. Before appearing and securing valid scores in the entrance exams, candidates must complete the basic eligibility criteria, which state candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% and must have studied PCM and English.

The new sessions for the BTech course and other UG courses at JIMS Greater Noida start with reporting from July 26 to July 30 between 11 AM and 4 PM, according to the information on the college's official website. Following the college's counseling, candidates can begin their classes.

No, IPU CET scores are not compulsory to get admissions into the BTech course at JIMS Greater Noida. Because the college also accepts the relevant scores of JEE Mains for admissions to BTech courses. Therefore, IPU CET is one of the accepted entrance exams for admissions to BTech courses at JIMS Greater Noida. However, it is not compulsory.

JIMS Greater Noida offers entrance-based admission to the BBA course. To get admission into the BBA course at this college, candidates are firstly required to complete Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the selection process, the college accepts the valid scores from CUET UG/ IPU CET.
