Regular training sessions and various pre placement activities are organized by the institute for continuous preparation of the students for the final placements. Various industry experts and alumni are invited for conduct these sessions. We also conduct Aptitude classes, Mock GD and PIs which prepares a student for the final placements and we also conduct company specific training for the students in which we invite alumni for the interaction. We start our placement preparation from Trimester -1 itself by teaching them various subjects like Personality development program, business communication, power dressing etc.

JIMS follows a rigorous process for the pre placement activities. In each trimester, various guest sessions, aptitude tests, mock GD/PIs, live projects, industrial visits are organized by experienced corporate and alumni. Also, a student has to undergo a compulsory 2 months' summer internship and has to prepare a final project report of the same. We also conduct panel discussions, specialisation focused seminars where corporate from the specialised areas such as Marketing, Finance, HR are the speakers who share the current scenario in various sectors.

Therefore, students can pursue PhD after completing PGDM nationally and internationally as well.  Candidates must ensure that they meet the preset eligibility criteria.
