Here are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at LNMIIT:
People may say that CGPA is insignificant, but I disagree. In my view, CGPA is important. Try to maintain your CGPA above 7.
If you want career advise or life lessons, talk to the batch passing out or few good and sensible seniors.
Do not focus on studies entirely. Skill development is as much important as studies. Engage in lot of new experiences and activities that are happening in the college.
Avoid in engaging in any form of disruptions with the professors. Always be polite and kind with them.
Don't lose your studies here because are tough to hand

The evaluation of students, in any course, is a continuous process. Normally, the performance of students in the mid-term examination (s), end-term examination, quizzes/short tests, tutorials, assignments, laboratory work and attendance is used to award the letter grade at the end of the semester. The relative performance of students is considered while awarding the letter grades.
The CGPA of a student is a numerical indicator of his/her academic performance in all the courses that he/she has registered up to and including the last completed semester. The computation of CGPA is similar to that of SGPA. Thu

Placements at The LNM Institute of Information Technology are pretty good, with the average package last year being approximately 14 LPA and the highest package with whooping amount of 1.7 Cr. for the 2022 group, but it was off campus. Every year, it has a placement rate of roughly 98.1%, which appears to be good enough.

Mess food is fine. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner are provided. There are three Messes in the campus, two of which are combined. Finally, there is no comparison between a mess and handmade food. Mess food quality and flavour may be subjective, and views can differ amongst people.

No, it is a public-private college, and no seats are reserved in any category. It is available to all students. You just need to meet the minimal qualifying requirements for the course for which you apply. Admission is purely taken on the basis of JEE-Main percentile.

If a student fails internal examinations at LNMIIT, he or she can apply for makeup exams if there is a real cause; otherwise, the sole alternative is to repeat the course or improve if the grade is D. If a student misses an internal exam, they may repeat it if their leave letter is approved by the professor. A student might lose some credit points from their final grade if they fail any of the topics on their mid-semester exams.
