If you don't have any other good option, you should go for it or try in next exam of CAT with more hardwork because only from CAT, you can get into very good colleges.

Yes, there is nothing wrong in studying at these institutions. They are decent and if you perform well, they will also act as a doorstep for your career with decent position. India needs more managers every year than those supplied by IIMs, XLRI, or other top MBA schools.

You need to score above 600 in MAT and you may be eligible with more than 65 percentile in XAT. Although, you can also get admission through CMAT score of 200+.
