Even though JD College of Engineering and Management's hostel mess is off campus, the hostels that are close by—only a few kilometers away—provide a respectable standard of living. In general, students find the food to be straightforward, home-cooked, and passably hygienic—enough to sustain them during hectic school days. The semester exam results of different semesters vary as per their examination dates. Although the college aims to provide the semester results within 15 days from the last semester exam that too place. Though this may vary according to the specific subject and exam that took place. For admission in JD college of engineering and management, the required documents are basically the same as done by any other colleges. Some of the essential documents are CAP Allotment Letter, CAP Final Merit Number Letter, MHT-CET and JEE (Main) score cards, school leaving certificates and mark sheets (Std. 10th/SSC and Std. 12th/HSSC). And as for identity and residency proof one needs domicile certificate, aadhar card and caste certificates if applicable
