SASTRA has two streams for entry. Stream-1 takes an aggregate of JEE and board marks (75% JEE and 25% board). Stream-2 considers only board marks. Your counselling call will depend on your AIR (All India Rank) which is determined by the aggregate percentile in respective streams. It all depends on the paper difficulty and other parameters. But as a thumb rule, 170+ in JEE Mains should guarantee you a seat in at least any of the course.

For admission in any college, JEE Mains marks are considered of that year in which you are applying for admission. There is no importance of previous year's marks of JEE Mains and Advanced in the admission process. Thank you.

For taking admission in DITU for B.Tech, one should have minimum 60% marks in X standard & aggregate 60% marks in XII standard and minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English/Physics, Maths, Bio, English/Physics Maths, English, Computer, etc. Then, the concern person is eligible to register and after the registration the candidate is invited for the counselling and thereafter on the counselling day management prepare merit of your XII standard percentage and as well as of JEE Mains Ranks.
