You have low chances for getting the colleges under JEE counselling like NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. So, you better try for the colleges that accept both JEE main and board exam marks for admission.

You may prefer Shiksha college predictor.
In our country, people truly believe on IITs and NITs for B.Tech and placement.
But, due to downfall, these are also losing its position.
Apart from these, some private college are BITS, SRM, NIRMA, VIT, SKIT Jaipur, UPES Dehradun and LPU are getting higher value.
Well, there, you may get good environment.

You are not eligible for JoSAA -Joint Seat Allotment Authority counselling as you haven't cleared the cutooffs as specified. So either you can try next year or try for private colleges in your state.

Well, each and every branch of engineering is best regarding their placement values.
As a mechanical engineering, I will recommend mechanical engineering, but if you will ask a CSE guy, he will prefer CSE.
So, choose according to you.
