Try till the spot round. There are chances you might get it in your home state NIT. It is quite difficult but don't take a chance. Go for it at least in your counselling.

Yes, if you live in Punjab then go for CSE and if you live outside of Punjab the ECE and civil engineering are the best options.

With this score, I don't think you will get good private colleges. Although VIT and SRM have management quota, it's best to prepare for one more year for JEE.

Your marks are too low to get any good college, although there are many private colleges which offer you admission on the basis of your marks, but its better for you take a break and look forward to the next year.
