Hello Manbeer,
Your 12 board result is very good but JEE Mains score is very bad. What happened? To answer, there are many private colleges that are good and some are very bad also.

Hello Himanshu,
I am sure you must have started studies in some college by now. But to give information, 50% seats are for the concerned state and other 50% are for other states and all seats are filled by JEE Mains.

Hello Sai,
The qualifying marks for JEE Mains are 75% for general category candidates and 60% for SC /ST candidates. But this is essential for admission to NITs or IITs. If your state accepts score of JEE Mains then it could be different.

You have to score 200 and above in JEE Mains to get admission in IIT colleges.
For good IITs, nearly 300 marks or above is required.

Hello Benimadhav,
Do you really want pursue engineering in spite of getting 80 out of 360 marks in JEE Mains? I would advise you to seek guidance from career counsellor. Commerce and humanities too are good choices.

Hello Asha,
You have exemplary marks in boards, but you have scored low marks in JEE Mains. You have bright chances to get admission in AP, but very less chances based on JEE Mains.

Hello Adarsh,
you need to appear for and pass with good marks, CET conducted by state or private colleges. JEE Mains score is not relevant here.
Best wishes

Hello Karuna,
You have less chances to get admission in NIT. If this is your aim, then you must reappear for JEE Mains.
