Hello Saswat,
Yes, from this year onwards, marks obtained in 12th will not be considered. Only your performance in JEE Mains will count. For getting 20k rank, I feel, you will have to score about 280-300.

Hello Malav,
CS is the most sought after engineering. Hence you need to score more than 280 to get admission in a decent NIT. But if your aim is CS, I am sure you will be willing to put up hard work.

Hello Kishan,
With 85 marks out of 360, I feel it's high time you seek guidance from a career counsellor. Engineering is not the end of the world. You can make a career in different subjects.

Hello Keval,
There is nothing like the minimum score. JEE Mains will give you AIR and when you apply for admission in NIT they will go by merit list. Even within the same NIT, there would be wide variation in opening and closing rank for different branches.

Hello Ansar,
Being in OBC category, you can get admission with lesser score. But keep in mind that scores of OBC students are quite good these days. I think score of 250 should be enough.

Hello Afreen,
Tamil Nadu has not accepted JEE Mains for admissions. Hence, except for IIT M and NIT you will not get admission based on JEE Mains score.

Hello Abhishek,
If you want to seek admission in most sought after branch then definitely you have to score big. But, it's always good to have big aims. I think, percentile of 60-70 should be good.

Hello,
NSIT is considered as premier college in Delhi. It accepts JEE Mains as criteria for admission. So appear for this. Being in ST category, I feel around 200 marks should be enough.

Hello Abhishek,
Admissions to NIT's is not easy as it is thought. Particularly, if you want a specific branch and place you need to score more. I think you should aim for score of around 250+ .
