There are various reputed engineering institutes that accept the 50-60 percentile in JEE Main. One need minimum 50 % in most of the cases for aerospace engineering. You can search about top 10 colleges for aeronautical engineering. Also you can use Shiksha predictor.

Class 12 marks have no weightage in the preparation of JEE Main ranks. But for the college eligibility criteria, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with at least 75% marks (or be in the top 20 percentile in the respective board) in the qualifying examination. This includes the marks obtained in both theory and practical exams.
