Hello Rohith, I am afraid the data that you are asking is not released by National testing agency. It is only NTA that can give out this information and they have, at least at the moment, chosen not to publish it. However after the conclusion of all the four sets of examination and when the results and the rankings are announced finally, then you will come to know as to how many students in each category appeared for this examination. For getting admission in B.Arch in IIT, You needs to qualify JEE Advanced and AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). So JEE Main Paper-1 is not applicable for IIT. However for getting admission in NITs, one needs to qualify in JEE Main Paper-2.

Normally NTA will allot you the first choice that you have given. If for some reason they can not then you will be informed by them. Selection to the B.Tech programme is based on the rank scored in AEEE 2021 / JEE Mains 2021 / SAT/ PUEE Scores. If JEE Mains is conducted multiple times, all the scores released prior to the Amrita B.Tech. CSAP (Centralized Seat Allotment Process)will be looked into and the best result considered.

The JEE Main percentile between 98-99 is very good enough for getting NITs and CFTIs. While the JEE Main percentile between 90-95 can be very good for other engineering colleges.

JEE Main exam holds 1 paper at once consists of 100 marks for maths, 100 for chemistry and 100 for physics.
