It Will give you a percentile less than 80 so if you are not from some quota or north east you would not be able to secure a NIT IIT or IIIt you would have to go for private colleges.

I will not lie to you but if you are thinking of IIT NIT IIIt GFTI then it's not possible but it is possible by your board exam marks or by giving exams for some particular college like BITSAT Vitee SAT tiet COMEDK or by some regional exam like Karnataka CET EAMCET MHT CET.

Hello Yug Patel, these days toughness of questions in any particular session of JEE Mains examination does not matter. This is so sense it is the percentile and not the percentage which matters most and whether a particular situation is tough or simple, percentile calculation evens out such variations or the perceived variations. So don't worry. You will be marked in a very just manner. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shalu Kumari, I must say that you have indeed obtained excellent percentile in JEE Mains. I am sure that with this percentile you can get your desired branch and the institution. However I would like to advise you to download the college predictors available on the net. You can then start filling thus up with different percentile figures to know status. Best wishes to you.

Hello Samarjeet, I must say that at more than 98 percentile you have definitely done excellently. With this, I am sure, you should get admission in your desired NIT and also your desired branch. I would further advise you to download college predictor for JEE Mains issued by Shiksha. This will enable you to guess as to where you stand as for as admissions are concerned in different branches in different NIT based on your current percentile. Best wishes to you.

Hello Raman, Cut-off for JEE Advance for last year:
Candidates having at least 90.3765335 percentile will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. For EWS students the cut-off is 70.2435518, for OBC it is 72.8887969, SC - 50.1760245, ST - 39.0696101, PwD - 0.06185224
If similar trend continues this year too, I am afraid you may not even become eligible to apply for admission. You need to score more than 90 percentile. Best wishes to you.
