It is possible to gain admission to UIET Chandigarh's B.Tech programme with a 75 percentile in JEE. The candidate's JEE Main rank determines their admission to UIET Chandigarh. Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Kanpur is entrance exam-based, i.e., based on JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced scores. Candidates seeking admission to BTech can not get admission to IIT Kanpur with only the scores of JEE Main. JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling is the final selection criteria followed by the institute. No, IIT Indore BTech admission is strictly entrance based. Admission to IIT Indore BTech is allotted on the basis of candidates' performance in JEE Main exam, candidates who qualify IIT Indore JEE Main cutoff are then required to appear for JEE Advance followed by the counselling round conducted by JoSAA. JEE Main is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced. Only those candidates who have qualified for JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced entrance test for admission to IIT Indore BTech courses.
