Yes, you can get a large no of Maharashtra government state engineering colleges through MHTCET. If you qualify in MHTCET, then there is no need to show your JEE marks for admission in state colleges.

There is no direct answer to this question. Whether to take a drop year for JEE depends on multiple factors such as the long-term goals of the candidates, his/ her level of preparation, whether there is any better alternative available and many more such factors.
In my opinion, If an aspirant thinks he/ she can perform well in the upcoming attempt, then they must dedicate one year to their studies. As an alternative, candidates can do some certifications to justify their gap in the resume. Later if the results are not in their favour then at least they won’t have regrets

No, you need a better rank in JEE Mains with your category to get into HBTU.
Tech cutoff 2024 for general category students is 7000 to 65000th rank. Similarly, for SC and ST category students, the HBTU cutoff 2024 is expected to be 90000 to 24000th rank and 150000 to 500000th rank, respectively. The expected Harcourt Butler Technical University cutoff 2024 of the B.

Indus University cutoff for B. Tech courses are based on marks obtained in GUJCET or JEE Main. The cutoff ranks for GUJCET will be released by ACPC while the JEE Main cutoff ranks will be released by JoSAA. Students who have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) of Science/Commerce/Arts with a minimum of 45% marks. (5% relaxation for reserved categories). Students need to register themselves by online form.

IIT Roorkee Candidates who have qualified JEE Main are eligible to apply for the said exam. The last date to register for JEE Advanced is in May. The deadline to pay the registration fees is in May. The exam is scheduled on May and the admit cards for the same will be available from May.
