To secure admission to leading engineering colleges in India, excluding IITs, NITs, or IIITs, it is recommended to aim for a JEE Main score exceeding 80, as per Shiksha's guidelines. Alternatively, certain institutions, such as Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology, Birbhum Institute Of Engineering & Technology, and Hooghly Engineering & Technology College, may consider applicants with a JEE Main percentile of 75.

Yes, it is possible to get admission to B.Tech at Graphic Era Hill University with a JEE Main percentile of 75. But if you secured 80 percentile then it is quite sure that you must take admission in B.Tech. As cutoffs are subject to change every year, it is not assured if you get B.Tech with the said percentile but there is a high chance that you get one, as per the past trends and patterns.

Preference for Branches:IT and CSE are competitive fields; a 75 percentile may be insufficient or borderline. For better odds, aim for 90+ percentile. In less competitive fields such as Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, your chances are considerably higher, though cut-offs are subject to change.
