Even though you have not mentioned your percentile which is the main criteria these days for deciding the cut off as announced by National testing agency, I am sure that you have scored more than the required percentile. At the stage I would like to advice you to think of admission in IIT and do take part in JEE Advanced examination. If you study a little bit more with better concentration and better understanding for the next few days I feel that there is a very likely possibility of you getting admission even in IIT. SAGE deemed to be a university located at Bhopal conducts its own entrance exam and gives admission based on the results of this test. I am afraid that your schooling in JEE Mains may not be useful if you intend to SEE admission to this deemed university located in Bhopal. SAGE University conducts SEE for shortlisting candidates for BTech courses. SEE is an online test conducted for admission to various UG and PG courses at SAGE University. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. It is difficult to determine whether you can get admission into an NIT with your category OBC NCL rank of 21790 and home state of Uttar Pradesh, as the admission cutoffs for NITs vary each year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty of the exam, and the number of available seats. However, you can refer to the previous years' cutoff ranks for OBC NCL category students in Uttar Pradesh to get an idea of the possible colleges you can get admission to. Additionally, you can also check the official website of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA for the latest cutoff ranks for NITs. It is also important to note that admission into NITs is based on various factors such as your rank, category, domicile, and the availability of seats in your preferred course and college. UPES have two pathways for B.Tech admission as given below.
1. Non exam pathway:
Board Merit: Minimum 80% marks in Class X, XII and minimum 80% aggregate in PCM/B & JEE Main cut-off Rank to be announced (on UPES website) after the declaration of JEE Main 2023 results)
SAT Cut off - 50 percentile
2. Exam pathway UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria- Minimum 50% Marks in Class X and XII. Minimum 50 % in PCM (Physics/Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class XII. (School of Advanced Engineering/ School of Computer Science)
So from above if you have 80% marks in 10&12th and 80% in PCM in 12th, than can be eligible for Non exam pathway. Otherwise apply for UPESEAT exam for admission here. The last date to apply is 31st May 2023.
