Applicants who secured the minimum passing marks are considered passing as per JEST Results. The result was released on the official website of JEST.
Along with declaration of the result, IIST also released the score card as well as JEST cut off marks. Applicants who appeared in the exam can check their marks in JEST exam.

The JEST cut off 2026 will be decided on the difficulty level of the exam, and number of applicants who appeared in the exam. As of now there is no official announcement regarding the cut off.

Applicants who want to know about the JEST cutoff should note that the cut off is the minimum passing marks one must secure to qualify for taking admission. The JEST cut off is calculated on the basis of total number of seats, difficulty level of exam, marking scheme of exam and the total number of candidates securing that passing marks.
Since this year there is a change in marking scheme compared to previous year hence the JEST 2024 cut off will be different than previous years.

Yes, the SERB will open JEST 2026 application correction/mofification window on its official website after closing the JEST 2026 application form window. The JEST modification window is a facility where candidates who have filled out the registration form can edit the details that were earlier filled with some incorrect particulars.
