For B.E./B.Tech admission at Jind Institute of Engineering and Technology, applicants must meet eligibility criteria: 45% of marks in total with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology in 10+2. For JEE Main, All India Rank less than 150000 or HSTES LEET scores are mandatory. Admission process involves: Online application of which the application fee is Rs. 500 is accepted, Counseling is held from June to August, Document verification is conducted and Fees paid of which approximately Rs. 64,000 per year for government quota and Rs.94,000 per year for management quota is payable.

To encourage students, Jind Institute of Engineering and Technology offers different scholarships to the learners. Worthy candidates can get scholarships up to Rs. 20 Lacs per annum The institute offers 100% JEE Main rank holders of first ten 10 students are exempted from paying tuition fees 50% tuition fee concession for students having a 10+2 percentage equal to or more than 80%. Other scholarships are Rs. 10,000 per annum for SC/ST students, Rs.8,000 per annum for EBC students and Rs. 5000 per annum for sports achievers.On an average 200+ students avail the scholarships every year to the tune of Rs. 50 lakhs.

Jind Institute of Engineering and Technology possesses a high rate of placements and 85.5 percent students find the job. Some of the leading recruiters of Infosys are TATA Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and MICROSOFT. In regards to placements, the highest salary package was Rs. 10 lakhs/year while the detailed average was Rs. 4.2 lakhs/year; 360+ students were placed out of the 420 participating students in 2023; 120+ companies visited campus and provided 450+ opportunities. International placement contribution was able to stake for 5% with more than twenty student placements obtained.

It is equally worth stating that Jind Institute of Engineering and Technology has a high employment uptake; in fact, over 85% students are usually placed. The maximum salary offered reached Rs 10 Lacs per annum, and the average salary is Rs 4.2 Lacs per annum. A range of companies which have campuses recruit more that 120 companies and major recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Microsoft. Due to good linkages with the market, students of the institute get very good job prospects.

10+2 with 45% of marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology. Passing score in JEE Main for All India rank less than 150000 and for HSTES LEET. Specific requirements: 20% weightage for Physics, Mathematics – 60% weightage and either Chemistry or Biotechnology – 20% weightage After electricity and electronics graduation. Total number of seats is 60 in each of six branches: CSE, ECE, ME, EE, CE, and IT.
