There is no entrance test required for getting admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication of Nalanda Open University. However, you need to check the eligibility requirement to apply for the course which is to be a graduate in order to pursue the course.

Hi Anushka, The main difference is only after the completion of 3 year B.J. M. C. degree, you will be able to do higher studies. Doing the Diploma only, you will face problems in getting a job in wide range. Also, you will face problem in your career growth if you have only the Diploma qualification.

Hello Mahima,
Yes, why not? In fact, mass communication/journalism is a very popular option to opt after graduation in English. With English in graduation+mass communication in PG, you can do wonders. It is a very successful and popular combination of subjects.
You can go into these fields after completing Master's degree:
1. Public Relations
2. Corporate Communication
3. Content writing
4. Advertising
5. Digital/social media or brand marketing.

Hello Rohan, 60% (aggregate) is too less for one to secure a seat in DCAC, DU.
Also, DCAC is one of the top colleges for Journalism so it will be tough for you. You can try for other colleges of DU, and that too can happen ONLY when you have some quota like that of OBC/SC/ST etc.
You can't get admission in any college of DU with 60% if you are from General category. Something can happen only if you have some reservation/quota.
All the best!
