The Kerala DHSE exams will be held for a duration of 2 to 2.5 hours. The Plus two exam of each subject has three parts. They are terminal examination (TE), continuous examination (CE) and practical examination (PE). A candidate will be required to secure a grade of D+ or above, with a minimum of 30% aggregate score in CE, PE, and TE, when taken together, and at least 30% in TE separately, to pass any subject.

Yes, Grace marks are given for the plus two students. Kerala Government restored the grace marks awarded to school students for their excellence in extracurricular activities. In 2023, the Kerala Principal Secretary had issued a new order stating that grace marks being awarded to the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and higher-secondary Plus-Two students in Kerala who excel in extracurricular activities will be limited to a single event in which they scored the maximum marks, and it doesn’t matter whether they participated and became eligible in multiple co-curricular items.  Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala release the Kerala +2 syllabus for Science, Commerce and Arts streams on the official website. Kerala plus two syllabus mentions all the topics and units to be covered in the upcoming examination. Visit the official website -dhsekerala.gov.in/. Click on Scheme of work STD 12. The Kerala 12th syllabus PDF will be opened. Download and save the Kerala 12th syllabus PDF.

The DHSE Kerala released the model exam time table 2024 on the official website along with the board exam time table. The Kerala plus two model exams 2024 was held from February 15 to February 21, 2024 in two sessions - forenoon and afternoon. The Kerala Plus 2 model exams 2023 were held from February 27, 2023 to March 3, 2023. Model exam helps students to assess their preparation level and understand the exam pattern. Students have to prepare well for the Kerala plus two exam to score more marks.

If students fail Kerala 12th SAY exam, they have to repeat year and write plus two exam next year. They have to work hard and prepare well for exam. They can go to any tuition centres for Kerala 12th SAY exam preparation. They should make a proper time table and learn well.

The kerala board will conduct the Kerala 12th supplementary exam for those who did not clear the Kerala 12th exam. Candidates will have to appear for the Supplementary exam which will be conducted by the Board in June. The details will be announced by the Board after the declaration of the Kerala 12th result. The candidates will have to apply and pay the requisite fee to appear for the Supplementary exams.

The candidates should secure at least 30 per cent aggregate in order to pass the Kerala 12th exam. Those who fail to score 30% have to appear for the plus two supplementary exam. Kerala plus two result 2026 will be released in May 2026. With proper preparation and hard work, students can easily clear the Kerala 12th exam.

In 2023, Ernakulam district topped in pass percentage with 87.55%. Pathanamthitta district got least pass percentage of 76.59%. 33,815  students got Full A plus in 2023. Last year, as many as 183 candidates had secured 100 per cent marks by scoring the perfect score. Malappuram district achieved the highest no. of A+ in Kerala.
