Admission to the 2-year PG course is based on the merit obtained in the PG entrance exam conducted by the University of Kerala. Candidates are shortlisted based on the entrance test scores are further invited to take part in the personal interview round. Furthermore, based on academic records, exam score, and performance in the interview, the university allots seats to the applicants.

The eligibility criteria for various UG & PG courses vary at colleges affiliated to Kerala University.
