University of Kerala reserves seats for various categories. Candidates get seats under different categories, namely merit, community quota, management quota and reservation. The university provides reservation in seats as follows:
Government Colleges/ UITs

The eligibility criteria for various UG & PG courses vary at colleges affiliated to Kerala University. To get admission to the UG course, candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination. Candidates who fulfill the criteria can visit the University of Kerala's official website: Kerala University.ac.in to register and fill out the application procedure for the respective course.
The university publishes a list to announce the index marks on the basis of which the final selection is done. Index marks are the candidates’ overall marks in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the relevant subject.
