KIITEE Management

Every candidate must carry a blue/black ball point pen and a few copies of their passport size photo to the exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Candidates who have diabetes can carry fruits as per medical prescription. They should also carry a medical affidavit for the same. PWD candidates will be required to carry a PwD certificate and scribe certificate, attested by a competent authority.

 No other item will be allowed inside the KIITEE Management exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the KIITEE MBA exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.

Yes, you must preserve the KIITEE Management admit card even after the exam as it may be needed at the time of admission. The KIITEE MBA admit card is one of the main documents, a proof of candidate’s attendance in the exam. Thus, they must preserve it. Many colleges and institutes even ask for the admit card as part of document submission at the time of personal interview round for MBA admission. The admit card contains your personal and residential details which can be misused if the admit card lands in wrong hands. Thus, candidates must take care of their KIITEE Management admit cards until the admission process is over and even after that.

No, there is no provision of changing the test centre after the KIITEE admit card has been issued. In fact, there is no option to change the test centre which has been allotted to the candidate at any point of time during the exam cycle. Candidates get only one opportunity to select the test city. Thus, it is very important to select test cities very carefully in the KIITEE MBA application form. They must choose their first city preference as home town or the city where they are likely to be on the exam day or choose a city which is the closest to their hometown and they can reach there on time on the exam day. Also, to be allotted the desired test city, candidates must fill the KIITEE application for at the earliest, as the test centres are allotted on first cum first served basis. Moreover, the KIITEE admit card is released two days before the exam so candidates must check the location of their allotted centre much in advance and make arrangements for reaching there on exam day on time.

About six months will be more than enough to prepare for KIITEE MBA exam as the syllabus is same as other MBA entrance exams. Candidates can refer to books and study material of CAT exam to prepare for KIITEE Management exam. They need to devote 4-5 hours daily to exam preparation and practice sample papers of KIITEE MBA. Key topics to study are as follows:

Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation & Combination, Simple & Compound Interest, Speed Time and Distance, Profit and Loss, Percentage and Logarithm, etc.

Analytical Reasoning: Arrangements, Coding-Decoding, Data Structures, Puzzles, Blood Relations, Clocks and Calendars, Direction, Series, etc.

English: Fill in the Blanks, Verbal Reasoning, Sentence Completion, Antonyms/Synonyms, Syllogisms, Jumbled Paragraphs, Para Completion, Reading Comprehension, Foreign words, Sentence Correction, Idioms/Phrases, One Word Substitution, etc.

General Knowledge: Economics, Industries, Business, Advertising, International Trade, Politics, World Politics, Sports, Science and Arts and Entertainment

There are five sections in KIITEE Management question paper - Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge and Issue of Social Concern.

Quantitative Aptitude section of KIITEE MBA has 40 questions and 120 marks, Analytical Reasoning section has 40 questions and 120 marks, English section has 30 questions and 90 marks, General Knowledge and Issue of Social Concern sections have 20 questions and 60 marks each. Study materials of Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, English and General Knowledge are easily available so there are no challenges. Candidates must focus more on the fifth section - Issue of Social Concern - during preparation as not much study material is available for the same.

In KIITEE MBA, 3 marks are awarded for each correct attempt and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions. So candidates must choose questions carefully, in order to avoid negative marking. If they do not know the answer correctly, they must skip that question. There will be a total of 150 questions in the KIITEE MBA exam. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions. Choose only those questions which you can solve accurately. Also keep in mind, the time limit. Do not spend too much time on a question. If a question is taking too much time leave it and move to the next question. Keep in mind to solve at least 2/3^rd of the total questions in all sections.
