To get into KL (Deemed to be University) Vijayawada for a BTech course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. KLU, Vijayawada offers full-time BTech courses of four years' duration. Students can get into this course based on a valid KLEEE – Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering Entrance Examination exam score. Apart from the selection criteria, students must complete Class 12 as per the last educational qualification set by the university.

The KL College of Science and Humanities, KL University, Guntur has a not-so-good placement record for BCA students. During the latest placement season, 48 students were placed, and the total job offers were 64. The highest package that was received was INR 12 Lacs per annum. The average salary of the BCA students is about INR 9.79 Lacs per annum. Though the college has tie-ups with many companies, some major firms, the percentage of placements is very low when compared to other programs. Constant support from the placement cell is being given in enhancing the employability quotient of students in the highly competitive job market.

The cutoff marks for MCA admissions in KL College of Science and Humanities, KL University, Guntur are computed based on the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam.
