The Logical Reasoning section of the KMAT question paper evaluates candidate's ability to analyze and evaluate arguments, identify patterns, and draw conclusions. 1. You must regularly read the newspaper in order to do well on the KMAT's verbal ability and reading comprehension sections. Additionally, you can choose a verbal aptitude book from Norman Lewis' Word Power Made Easy, Arun Sharma and Meenakshi Upadhyay's Sharma and Upadhyay, or Wren and Martin's Wren and Martin.

Important topics for the exam are listed below:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Ability
- Logical Reasoning
Each of these sections will have 40 questions and total of 120 questions. So it is important to focus on each of the subtopics under these broad sections.
Important areas to study:
-Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, comprehension of passages
- Seating Arrangement problems, Circular Arrangements, Blood Relations, Selection and Conditionals , Sets based on grouping and patterns, and Mapping and best routes.
