Kolhan University has announced the dates for admission in Bacheolar of Dental Surgery (BDS) program of Academic Year 2024-25. The application starts from 5th October to 11th October 2024 which links with the NEET 2024 Round 3 choice filling and locking dates. Aspiring candidates should have at least 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 Science stream and should have a passing NEET score. This program is compulsory for candidates intending to practice in the field of dentistry and is part of the enhancement of healthcare education in the university.

Achieving a BDS seat at Kolhan University with only 560 points in NEET 2024 is quite questionable. The cut-off for the General appears to be dropping into the range between 720-164, thus a score in that range stands little chance of gaining admission through the state quota. Generally, it is expected that students possess a score of at least 450 marks to gain entry to the government dental colleges. While you have a competitive score, still, you do not meet the required score bands needed at Kolhan University and even some other top institutions.
