The Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) is responsible for releasing the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) application form. The KSET application form released on September 1, 2025. The candidates can apply for the KSET exam through the official website. No offline mode application form will be accepted by the KEA for the KSET exam. However, the candidates have to submit the KSET application form hard copy on the exam day along with the attendance sheet. The last date to apply is September 18, 2025.

NCERT books can be beneficial for the aspirants in the initial days of preparation, especially for paper 1. However, it will not cover all the topics in detail. Sometimes KSET exam covers a wide range from all topics and may the NCERT book will not cover the topics in depth. Therefore, the candidates are advised to go through the detailed books and other study materials. Additionally solving previous years' question papers are taking mock tests can also be helpful in preparing for the KSET exam.

The KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) is a state-level exam conducted by the Karnataka Eam Authority. The exam is conducted once a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The criteria for qualifying the KSET exam are as follows: a) Minimum marks: Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in both paper 1 and paper 2 to qualify for the exam. General category candidates must score 40 per cent aggregate marks in both papers.
