The English proficiency exam accepted by York College of Pennsylvania is:-
- A minimum score of 79 is required in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- A minimum score of 6.0 is required in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
- A minimum score of 110 is required in the Duolingo English Test (DET).
- A minimum required score of 58 is required in the Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic).
A minimum score of 1190 is required in the Global Test of English Communication (GTEC).

University of Copenhagen takes students from all around the world, but not all the programs offered are taught in English. UG courses are only taught in Danish, so the International students must take the exam of Studieprøven i dansk, and prove the native level of this language.
Most of the PG programs are taught in English, so the International students have to prove their English proficiency by taking TOEFL/IELTS or Cambridge English test.
