Jindal School of Languages and Literature Highlights 2026
Jindal School of Languages and Literature is also known as JSLL and is the 11th school of O. P. Jindal Global University. It has been established to teach languages, linguistics and literature studies to students effectively. It was established in the spirit described by Cardinal John Henry Newman in The Idea of a University (1852). It has a link with the JGU Office of English and Foreign languages that includes various centers, including the Center for Foreign Languages, English Language Center, and the Center for Writing Studies.
Jindal School of Language and Literature courses are offered to students at the UG level. It offers BA (Hons) programme in the English language for the duration of 4 years. Some of the specialisation areas include Professional communication, Creative Writing, Gender & Sexuality Studies, etc. JSLL also provides international study opportunities to students in reputed universities such as University of Liverpool, University of St. Andrews, Griffith University, York University, University of Bristol, University of Essex, University of Southampton, and many more.
JSLL has a group of around 30 faculty members to teach language courses to students and to provide trainings in professional communication. The college has signed agreements with several institutes in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Columbia, and Uruguay.
